KIDS' MEMORY VERSE

The ancient rabbis believed children should memorize and learn the Word of God. They were known for saying things like "stuff them with Torah like an ox" (The Babylonian Talmud Baba Bathra 21a:6). Because children need to learn that the Word of God is a source of truth and life, Christians have continued this system of discipleship (Ephesians 6:4).

At Grace Church, we want to partner with our parents in the discipling of our children. One of the ways we do this is by encouraging kids (and parents!) to memorize the Word of God. Each month, a memory verse is given to the kids and, together, they share that verse with the congregation during our Gathering service on the last Sunday of the month.
